License Experience
I have had the authority and the responsibility for negotiating, signing and implementing more
than 20 worldwide license and OEM agreements for technology, computers, monitors or
software. In my management consulting practice, I have been responsible for reviewing and
making recommendations on more than 50 license agreements.
In my capacity as Vice President of RasterOps corporation, I was responsible for all OEM and
licensing agreements and customer service. RasterOps sold products under OEM agreements
with other companies and acted as an OEM for its own products.
In my capacity as President of EDC, I was responsible for the negotiation, signing and
implementation of more than a dozen licenses, including license extensions, with major
companies including Imperial Chemical Corporation (UK), Von Roll (Switzerland), Landustrie
Sneek (Holland) and other licenses with companies in France, Germany and Italy.
I was responsible for negotiating, signing and implementing licenses with Block Financial
Corporation, PeachTree Inc., Intuit Corporation, Expert Software Inc., ClickAction Inc.,
Mucho.Com Corporation, Fatbrain.com Inc., Mycities.com Inc. and BizProLink.com. In my
capacity as president of the Center for Business Innovation, I assisted more than 25 different
companies in developing and implementing license agreements.
As a consultant I have been responsible for reviewing and making recommendations on many
licenses including agreements with companies such as, Microsoft Corporation, Sony, Software
Publishing Corporation, Osborne Computer Inc., Science Application International Corporation
and Polo Microsystems, Inc.
