Prepared a comprehensive feasibility study and business plan for an innovation and commercialization incubator center that included facilities planning, board recommendations, a 3-year cash flow, five year budget and revenue projections, client company and intern staff projections.

Greater Hamilton Technology Enterprise Centre — Hamilton, Ontario Canada.

Prepared an analysis of  the organizational aspects of an equity based client business incubator in Canada, investigated whether the  investment community would support the development of a seed fund to fuel the equity based clients and researched the market potential for equity based business incubation clients.

Technology Commercialization Business Incubator Feasibility Study — Long Beach, CA.

Prepared a comprehensive feasibility study and business plan for an incubator center that included facilities planning, board recommendations, a 3-year cash flow, five year budget and revenue projections, client company and intern staff projections. This feasibility study was done under the auspices of Long Beach Chamber of Commerce, California State University and Los Angeles County Economic Development Council.

Engaged as a consultant to recruit president, develop compensation plan, write comprehensive business plan, develop client contracts and help develop funding program with local community. This feasibility study was done under the auspices of the University of Kansas and The Kansas Technology Enterprise Corporation.

Missouri Incubator and Technology Commercialization Report

Engaged as principal consultant to analyze statewide business incubation programs including the operation and funding of 10 business incubators. Report focused on state wide job development and retention, incubation program redundancies, and funding gaps for start up businesses.

Business Incubation Feasibility Study — Everett, WA

Engaged as a consultant to conduct a feasibility study and write business plans for two technology driven incubation and commercialization centers. This feasibility study was done under the auspices of the University of Washington and Snohomish County Economic Development Council.

North Florida Technology Innovation Corporation Jacksonville, FL

Engaged as consultant to assist in the recruitment of the president of the technology driven incubator.  Reviewed over 100 resumes for this executive position and established the position search criteria.

European Business Network New York City, NY

Engaged by EBN, an organization representing 40 business incubation centers in Europe, as consultant to present 3-day seminar on equity-based incubators, client contracts, fund raising, financial management, stock liquidation, client management, budget forecasting, strategic partnering and technology commercialization.

Development Stage Software Company….Engaged to provide a market analysis, investigate alternative distribution channels and provide compensation recommendations for new sales and marketing executive.

Bicycle Peripheral Manufacturing Company…. Assisted founders in the development and marketing of a series of products designed for bicycle safety. These products included high decibel level horns, clothing, and lights.

Delta Tao, Inc….. Wrote the business plan for a group of experienced Macintosh Programmers who wished to develop and market a series of games based on brand name characters.

Polo Inc….. Engaged by company founders to write and implement an international sales and marketing program for a new computer system. Computer was being built in Hong Kong. Negotiated OEM agreement with MicroSoft. Launched national distribution organization.

Sports Equipment Company….. Develops “organizers” for sports equipment. The “Sporter Sorter” was the company’s first product. The target markets for the “Sporter Sorter” were parents and grandparents of youths involved in sports, as well as the youths themselves.

Wireless Company……was formed to develop and market wireless communication products. It was the first company to announce the release of a wireless printer sharing product, GoPrint, and a wireless LAN product, AeroNet, which both use a high performance 2400 MHz spread spectrum radio. Medical Products…… designs, manufactures, and markets patented diagnostic systems and surfaces, used by hospitals and cardiologists for echocardiography procedures. Echocardiography or diagnostic ultrasound of the heart is one of the most recognized and fastest growing diagnostic techniques in use. Computer Assistance…..provides 24 hour, 7 day a week, subscription telephone hotline support to individual, corporate and government personal computer users, and supports a wide variety of popular hardware and software products. Educational Services….. founded by University of Missouri-Kansas City faculty members, develops and markets diagnostic testing and test preparation programs for professional qualifying exams. BES markets these products to the University of Missouri and other major medical schools throughout the United States and in selected foreign markets. Document Management Software…..develops and markets knowledge-based business and technical writing software tools. Established in 1987, the company has achieved national success in the technical communications field, with clients such as Shell Oil, Citicorp, and Allied Signal. Magazine Company…..Publishing launched a new national bimonthly magazine called Real in November ‘95. The magazine is targeted at teens and youth, and seeks to empower youth with the basics of comprehension and literacy in a fun and entertaining manner. Medical Software….. sells software and hardware products to the emergency service ambulance market. These products include computer-aided dispatch, response time reporting and analysis, and billing and collections modules. Environmental Products…..was founded in 1995 to develop and market a portable used-oil disposal container. This 10 quart container was designed to make it easy for the do-it-yourself oil changer to recycle motor oil without leaks or spills. Development stage Computer Company…..Wrote business plan and assisted in the implementation of the development of a direct sales computer company building computers to order based on customer specifications using off-shore components. Developed and implemented an expert guidance software program which used the customer specifications requirements for computers and automatically generated price and proposal for customer. Enter Computer, Inc…..Developed and implemented an international sales and marketing program for the sale of plotters for the computer industry. Interviewed and selected direct sales personnel and manufacture representatives and distributors.

Vorspan Losinger, Inc…..Developed a management information system for a $35 million construction company in the bridge building industry.
